Trained in process improvement in the health care industry, for five years I worked on large-scale corporate improvement initiatives and worked closely with the type of big consultancies who dominate the performance improvement industry. I understand how they get the results they do, and why simply directly applying those tools to smaller companies won’t work. Since 2009 I have been modifying big company methods for any business.
Though I’ve studied cognitive psychology, organizational development, and database management, it’s my degree in music that most informs my work in process improvement. I gained a profound understanding that logic and discipline lead to grace and innovation. Performance improvement is an ongoing practice, rather than a one-time project, and my musical endeavors prepared me to coach others how to turn a strategic goal into a daily habit. My work is collaborative at its core, and I am adept at workplace ensemble facilitation largely due to my education and experience as a musician.
I have been described by clients as “upbeat, dynamic, engaging, flexible, driven and an absolute joy.”
